What would it take to convince you to change your position about Universal Health Care (in the US)?
I'll start. I can see a couple of options - make medicare, medicaid, and/or social security sustainable (ie, show that something can be made sustainable). Perhaps run some test programs (we have 50 states, imo if they were serious about doing this right we'd be running 50 variations on how to do it for 5-10 years to prove out the best way to do it). Or (this would be my first choice, I think) find a way to control costs for universal health care for minors, and demonstrate it in a working program. Certainly, Congress should be mandated to be under the same system they think the public should trust them to design.
Anyone else have ideas on what would/could convince you to change position on this issue?
