Is anyone watching this? I've got it on my DVR and haven't heard a thing about it, good or bad. Is it worth the time?

It's a good show and worth the time I think.

Wife and I have watched all the episodes online. It is a pretty decent show with some good acting. I like the storyline, too.

Everything I have read elsewhere is basically the exactly opposite of what Ken and Zif said.
Don't worry, it's just stigmata.

It's not great, but it's ok for the most part. There are definite things that are just flat out bad about it (the paradoxes and wife/husband conflict).
They do a good job with the last 5 minutes of the show, because typically that's the reason I tune in next week. That and I'm a TV junkie and watch
horrible stuff like Sanctuary on SyFy.

The wife/husband deal is kind of 'meh', but it is a different way to provide the same battles over trust without rehashing it time and again. At least
it isn't consistent with the normal t.v. profile.

This show is dreadful. The pacing is slower than a Galapagos tortoise. I totally disagree about the acting, as well; it seems to consist of not much more than
people trying for their best "I'm tormented by something horrible" expressions. John Cho is wasted in this.

Because John Cho is a great actor as shown in American Pie and Harold and Kumar? :)

Never saw either of those, but I liked his work in Kitchen Confidential (a non-aired TV series) and several other appearances, such as on House, and I think
he's capable of more than he's currently doing in Flashforward. Actors take roles in sucky movies/shows all the time, either for the exposure or thanks
to being addicted to things like a roof over their heads and food on the table.

Wow, I can't believe you've never seen either of those movies. Harold and Kumar Go To Whitecastle is definitely worth picking up sometime, for NPH if
nothing else.

Cut her some slack. She's a little beyond the target demographic of either movie.

I've been watching it just to see where it goes. It's not great, but it's not horribly bad either despite the occasional bit of bad acting.
Sometimes the acting seems forced which is the worst part of the show imo. Joseph Fiennes has been called out for this quite a bit so far.
For me it's worth the time to see where it goes. Then again, I watch it on weekend nights when I have nothing else to do (family is sleeping) and I probably wouldn't budget time out for it otherwise. |

I gave up watching it for the same reason as Cisne, the pacing is just so horribly slow that it feels like watching paint dry. I had some hope for the show but
now it is just painful to watch and the whole wife/husband relationship thing is just too obvious to even be considered a story at this point. You could have
predicted that relationship following that path the second you saw his and her flash forward. They're playing so stereotypical people its not even funny.
The only two characters that I felt had some oomf behind their character development were the lesbian that was pregnant in her flash forward and cho's
character that is trying to cope with his eventual death. Those are halfway interesting. Everyone else is just ... blah ... and everyone else is just not
entertaining enough to keep watching.

I thought Harold and Kumar was hilarious, but I have a low sense of humor. (I haven't seen the second one). I read the story Flashforward is based on and
it was sort of meh. I don't usually like Robert Sawyer, though; he's so Canadian. :)

Typical Flashfoward episode last night. I couldn't care about 90% of the episode, then the ending opened up a can of worms that makes me want to watch next
week.

Just finished watching last nights episode. The ending was pretty damn good. As said above here, it does make you want to watch next week for sure.

Last week's episode just about made me want to quit watching. Playing poker to determine if you should reveal you "accidentally" killed 20
million people? Wow, just wow. And then the dude cheating somehow to hit a straight flush with a house dealer on the turn and river? Wife and husband plot line
is still maddeningly horrible. Also who would have thought there'd be another dude out there with a 3 star tattoo?! Crazy, right?!
