WTF Happened to scrubs? |
Lead | ||
|
I thought last season was the series finale, and thought the last half of the season sucked overall. It really bummed me out on the whole thing. Last night,
TiVo records an episode of scrubs...i thought it was an old comedy central rerun, so i go to delete it, and the date says 2009. wtf?
apparently its on a new station and has a new season...

Yes. ABC, which owned Scrubs, decided to pick it up when NBC canceled it. Supposedly they're now considering another season sans the creator Lawrence and
Braff, who have both said they're moving on to other projects. Things haven't changed much despite moving networks, they're already changing the
timeslot/day for it
We saw the first few, they weren't bad, better
than last season. But it conflicts with Fringe/Biggest Loser, neither of which my wife was willing to give up for Scrubs.

Yeah I'm having to watch it online myself due to my wife wanting to watch, Biggest Loser. So far it seems better than the last season, but I think the last
season came off as a bit of a right off as they had to rush things out with a cancelation from nowhere.
It's kind of sad that it really doesn't do better than it does. I think it has suffered from alot of things over the years to cause it, but it really is one of the few shows I really want to watch. |

Zack Braff is one of those actors that will always believe he deserved greater success than the TV role that made him famous, but will never really achieve the
level of fame he thought he was entitled to.
c.f. David Caruso, who left a great role on NYPD Blue, thinking he was the next big shit in Hollywood, and turned out to be a big pile of shit in Hollywood. |

And is now back on one of the highest rated TV shows... I agree Caruso sucks and was dumb for leaving NYPD Blue, but in the end I don't think he's
complaining

How the hell can C.S.I. Miami be one of the highest rated tv shows? God, I hate humanity.

I DVR shit. Too lazy to watch it live. If I really cared I'd go watch it, but I don't.

Don't hate Haze, eventually you'll have somebody special that tells you what to do to. |

I think haze is married. But knowing haze, she probably doesn't want to spend very much time with him, so he gets the tv to himself a lot.

Bumping this due to a great version of 'Hey Ya' sung by Sam Lloyd (aka, Ted). It's background music to the actual show, but he does a amazing cover
of it imo. Worth the listen imo.
