The person whose name I drew recently expressed an interest in trying a cava sparkler instead of a traditinal brut. The suggested limit is $10, which I don't mind exceeding. Any recommendations for a decent and reasonably priced cava?

Most places have it between 6.99 and 9.99/bottle. Can check your local wine shop or Whole Foods/Metropolitan Market type place. We use it for our Christmas morning Mimosas. Really isn't a better Cava around for the money. It's good to see people roaming a bit for sparklers. Many of the Cava are made in the same Method de Champenoise of the Champagne region, so quality is quite high, especially considering the price on these offerings.
