Was considering trying this game out and noticed that it had a 14 day free trial. If i were to play the 14 day free trial, and then buy the full verison, will
I still get the free month that comes with it?

I don't know, but I would say it's almost definitely 'yes'. The free month is usually included in the box fee and has nothing to do with your
trial.

Yes, the free month starts from when you activate your retail box code.

Some of the more populous servers (supposedly) are Brandywine, Meneldor, and Landroval.

As an aside, Book 13 just launched today with a huge new level 44-50 play region...and fishing!

Well, im having trouble updating. Im using Vista, and my patcher keeps going in a loop. I tried Turbines way of fixing it, but I still got the error.
The error I get, is "Could not patch file "AxInterop.SHDocVw.dll", error 5: Access is denied." Bah. |

That bites. Best I could suggest is to try reinstalling and then running the patcher again...

Heh, yea. It seems the Turbine forums are a wasteland.
I downloaded the high-res client, so I deleted my Lotro files and am trying it with the low-res client. |

Got everything working, so I decided to start a dwarf champion. Combat is a little bit boring, but im hoping it gets more exciting later on. Im on the Meneldor
server.
I was looking at some of the classes, and the Captain seems pretty neat. I have an altoholic problem, so no doubt I will be trying a few. |

Combat gets more lively as you level up and gain more abilities.

played this when it first came out and it was tons of fun. The rogue is most definately the way to go, just tons of great abilities, plus you can start your
own combos. The reason i stopped playing was too sparse a non-retard population. The heroic combos have four buttons to choose from and 90% of the population,
couldn't use them. Was a solid game tho, good graphics and decent gameplay, i just coul'dnt find groups for the group stuff at higher levels.
