Has anyone used either (or both) of these products and would care to give feedback on it? From what we have heard and investigated so far it looks like an
amazing product. I'm just wondering if anyone who has had their hands on it has tried it out?

Having had the bad experience of working at CA for a while (a long time ago, when they were actually a criminal enterprise in all but name), I wouldn't
touch any piece of their software with a ten foot pole. To be fair, I've heard that since Charles, Sanjay and the rest are gone, they've cleaned up
their act a lot, but I still wouldn't trust their software.

That's great to hear, Aiel. There were a fair number of smart people working there, but they were constantly being treated like dirt by the management. If
things have changed for the better, I hope some of those good people are having a better experience and they are getting the chance to write some good
software.
They fired that CEO and then put him, iirc, in jail, and fined them several million dollars about 3 1/2 years ago. That was "Sanjay" (full name Sanjay Kumar). He went to jail last year, after a great many delays. Some of the other executives who had participated in a shady bonus deal got off with fines, iirc. It was Charles Wang and the corporate culture he fostered that was the worst problem there. I think Sanjay was the (or one of) original founder of Infospace, too. If I recall he left there with a pretty significant send-off. That company has done so
much better without him. Funny how he seems to bring out the worst in his ventures and they go on to be far more successful without him.

Kendien, you're thinking of Javeen Nain. Sanjay Kumar was with Uccel (sp?) when it was acquired by CA, which was in the mid-80s. Infospace wasn't even
founded until the 90s.

Ah, that's right. Thanks for the correction, Dave. I was trying to use my memory, to ultimate failure. ;)
