Posts: 2867 02-21-08 8:01 AM Big Blue Cat in Warrior Garb	I've been reading about this for a few days now, but a small detail slipped by me until today. I had not realized that this was a newer satellite that was launched in 2006. I was thinking it was an older bird and didn't quite get the hoopla around taking it out. Now that I know it was a newer model, I can understand why they wanted to destroy it. While the hydrazine story might hold a bit of truth to it, I would bet they were much more worried about the optics, processors and communications gear on this bird.
