Jeans and dress shoes can be considered dressy-ish depending on the jeans, whereas jeans and sneakers is unmistakably casual. Which one did you go with? Of course if you wore white socks then that nullifies any dressiness whatsoever. |

white socks with black gym shoes, but jeans are long so you can't see the socks and the gym shoes look almost like regular shoes from a far

I work in an office but I always wear jeans and steel toes. No one realy cares since all I do is talk on the phone, like 95% of the people here.

When I first interviewed for my job at HP I went in with slacks, dress shirt, and tie. The guy interviewing me had on sandles, shorts, and a ball cap. That was
the only day I ever wore anything other than jeans or shorts to work =P.
