I still think the 30-whatever precent of the people who approve of this clown are whacko, but I can understand it. But this?

So I ask, why? What can the person who puts this on their car be thinking? Surely even your most mindless neocons like Borofin and Snarfo would have to give Reagan and Bush Sr much better marks... I'd bet even Petoffen doesn't have a "Carter -- The President" bumper sticker.

Is this just a plot by my evil neighbor to give me an aneurysm?

Is he not The President? I think you're reading too much into it. Where are you getting that extra connotation from? It says "THE PRESIDENT," why are you sticking "best ever" or "only" or whatever else in there? The "the" is not in italics; there are no quotes or asterisks around it; the whole thing is in bold, not just "THE".

So...I'm confused, or maybe naive.

I can tell you that half the reason that I seem to support Bush so ardently is because I think he gets a bum rap from folks like you, Kayso.

You're entitled to your opinion, but some people get so carried away with their hatred of Bush--often completely beyond justification--that I feel sorry for the guy. (Yeah, *I* feel sorry for the President of the United States. Go figure.) I don't always agree with his decisions, but I think he's a good man doing the best he can with a very bad situation. Seeing some of the crap that's directed towards him almost makes me inclined to buy junk like that website advertises, just to counterbalance some of the bullshit from the haters.

I would buy that sticker so that I could proudly staple it to my penis and do a happy dance. Then when I had sex later with a transvestite prostitute in a bangkok massage parlor I could proudly state that shim was boned by W "The Penis".

I think actually the sticker is a cute play on the logo and style of the W hotels branding, with cute meaning pointless and style meaning un-stylish. People will buy anything that is in direct opposition to ideas which they oppose regardless of how lame they are.

Extremely mild political bumper sticker. I really don't know why that one would bug you. There are far, far better "in your face" ones.

P.S. I saw my first Barack Obama bumper sticker yesterday. The doofus stuck it in the middle of his/her SUV's rear window, at eye level. A little annoying. I still haven't seen a Hillary one.

I think putting a sticker that has no chance of at least winning you something, on something you hope to be able to resell or trade in at some point, is pretty dumb, personally. I have a sticker to get on the base, and one for a radio station that I almost never listen to any more just in case I am listening when they spot me and want to give me tickets, heh.
