This post was on the old p.com boards made by a guildmate of mine, Justar. Just didnt feel right to leave the memorial of him on the old boards to be forgotten. I want to keep his memory alive at the place where the Prexus community resides.

I don't know how many people on Prexus knew Mastashreda, but those who did were fortunate souls indeed. He was one of the kindest and funniest players on Prexus.

He passed away a little over a month ago at the age of 18 from cancer he had been fighting for a long time. His physical condition was such that his RL opportunities were pretty limitted, so Everquest was pretty much all he had to keep him going. Spending times with 'friends' online possibly extended his time in this world longer than it would have otherwise been because it gave him a reason to keep fighting.

I will miss Mastashreda dearly even though I never met him in RL, but I am comforted in the knowledge that no matter what his spritual beliefs, he will be/has been rewarded for the giving life he lived.
