Since the first day that I met EE, his name had a permanent spot on the friends list of any character I ever played. He was the one guy in your guild that you always knew would be there for you if you ever needed him. It did not matter if it was for EQ help or just someone to just help listen to any problem you might be having in RL. Always a gentle soul and a brother to his friends, EE had the wonderful ability to smooth over any situation. Emmerson once wrote, "Most of the shadows of life are caused by standing in our own sunshine." EE was a person who walked without a shadow. Now I look back and chuckle to myself thinking of his he would always joke with me about some of the really old equipment he would use and how he was behind the times. Whenever he would get online we would tell each other about what new things we had done or new things we had gotten. But now I think to myself of the times I would get a tell from him and not be able to talk cause I was on a raid. That was something EE would never tell me though, he would make time for anyone. He was a better man than me. He knew to put his friends first before EQ. It's hard to hold back the tears now thinking of what I wouldn't give to to be able to respond to one more of his tells.
I was honored to be in Birds of Prey with him, but more importantly...... I am honored to have had him call me his friend .
