Welcome to the Prexus boards.
I'm pretty sure that everyone who has been around prexus knows me or knows of me. But in case you are unfamiliar here's a short bio:
My name is Ellocopato, I'm a lvl 65 Wizard. I've been playing on prexus circa April 2000.
I've been in 3 guilds. First being the bretheren. They were higher level and I wound up leaving forming a guild with a few people I met called the Justice League. In Dec 2000, many of us left Justice League and formed Twilight Avengers, where I have since called my home.
I created this board on a whim this morning. Having read numerous posts saying "if you don't like this, create your own board". So I did.
Happily no one has flamed me yet (well a couple people on the old p.com board are taking their shots, but ah well can't please everyone).
Pretty much I'm going to play this by ear for now as far as rules and moderators go.
Specifically, I want to wait until the community grows and is stable before I start the threads to elect administrators of the board.
I don't have a set of rules per se as far as conduct goes on this board.. but I think we can all agree it comes down to common sense. I'll look for the old prexus rules and post them up here.
A question was brought up about banning those who were banned on the old prexus board. I do believe in second chances. Those who were banned and come over here, and don't pull anything that they did over on the other board are welcome to stay. If not.. they won't be staying long.
What I'd like to see happen is for this board to flourish. How this can happen depends on the community. People on this board can do the following:
1) Post on your guild boards with the link of this board to let people know it's here
2) Use the trading/spell trading forums to generate commerce. Buying/Selling Items is of great interest to many (If you build it they will come)
3) Chat it up on the forums. A busy board is a happy board.
I've assigned some moderators already to watch over the board to make sure that things go smoothly.
I hope that you enjoy using this board and that it will be come an integral part of the prexus community as whole.
