Welcome to the Garage Sale forum. We have set up this forum for the community so that members may post their wares (no, not warez) for sale. Please note, there are several rules for this forum. These rules apply to items posted directly here or indirectly on another site. In other words, you may not link your off-site auction / sale here that does not comply with the rules.
Failure to follow the rules will result in a banning from the community.
1) You may NOT post MMORPG related items for sale.
2) You may NOT post illegal items. And while it technically may be a water pipe to you, it's not welcomed here.
3) No copied CDs, DVDs, VHSs, BetaMaxs, 8-Tracks, etc - You get the picture. This applies to bootleg items as well.
4) No auctions for "on-line" information sales. You may not solicit people to pay you $XX amount of money for your sooper-sekrit guides or strategies.
5) No soliciting "sign-ups" for on-line incentives. For example, "Click here to get a free iPod Nano" or "Click here to sign up for surveys". This applies to pyramid-type offers as well.
6) No guns / liquor or any item that requires proof of age or licensing
7) You are not permitted to use any information gained during a sale to disrupt the other party. For example, if you now know Creac's address, you may not distribute that information or sign him up for Kangaroo Quarterly
8 ) Deragatory discussions about a sale are not to be conducted in this forum. If you think someone is ripping off another, feel free to start a rant in the R&F forum. You of course may discuss the item for sale if you require more information - but threadcrapping will not be accepted. You may not post a quip or a link to another site within a sale thread, to direct the community to an alternate sale. In other words, don't post your Uncle Jimmy's auction of 'Hoff memorabilia in Cromulent's sale thread.
What is allowable:
Any old or new item you're selling that does not violate the aforesaid rules. Have an old or new item you no longer want? Feel free to post it or post a link to your auction on eBay.
Some guidelines:
If you are directly posting an item for sale here, be sure to be VERY clear on the price, shipping costs, and terms of the sale. We do not want this area to be used directly as an auction site. If you post an item directly here - it must have a set price, set shipping cost, and clear terms. If you are looking to post an item with an auction style bidding - please check out eBay. You may though, post a link to that eBay sale here.
Once your item has sold or your sale is complete. Please edit your posting to include the word "sold" in your title. Every so often we will delete those threads.
We will amend or add to these rules as needed.
