Much as it pains us to do so, the Husband and I are looking to sell a sizeable comic book collection. If you know anyone who might be interested, please let me know.
We are /not/ interested in selling to dealers at this time since they keep offering us .10 to .20 on the dollar for the value of the books. We're looking to sell to a collector or to a dealer who is willing to pony up a bit more.
20,000 books, all in mylar bags, every 10 books and all key books have acid free backing boards, all books kept in 80 long boxes.
Primarily Marvel and DC but also includes Pacifica, First, Vertigo, Dark Horse and Image books.
Collection begins in the early '60s and many titles are kept current till today.
Includes:
Avengers 1, 2, 3, 5
X-Men 2-present (missing the reprint issues). Includes GS 1 and 94
Journey Into Mystery 83 (First Thor)
Strange Tales 101, 110 (First Dr. Strange)
Incredible Hulk 180, 181 (first Wolverine)
Iron Man 1
Captain America 100
Amazing Spiderman 129 (first Punisher)
