Now, in terms of knowing my commitments, you don't have to just look at my words, you can look at my deeds. Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, which is my committee, a bill to call for divestment from Iran, as a way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don't obtain a nuclear weapon.Sorry to disappoint him, but he's not even a member of the Senate Banking, Housing & Urban Affairs Committe, so there is no way the committee could be his. But hey, let's just look at his deeds - like the bold face lie he just told in order to inflate his stature that gets a major pass from the fawning media surrounding him on this trip. Yeh, you can throw out the "all politicians are liars" excuse, but is that what we'll allow from the progenitor of change?
