Me: Shaun, 29, Hoboken, NJ (grew up in Connecticut) Family: I have a slightly older sister who lives across the river in Manhattan. The rest of my immediate family is scattered between Connecticut, Florida, and Alabama. What I Do For Work: IT engineering/projects for a large healthcare company... lots of server virtualization and Citrix lately. Nothing mind blowingly interesting. Current Video Games: I really don't play many aside from the occasional 360 game that I end up getting bored with within a few days. I play a lot of online poker though. Current Music I Enjoy: Indie Rock/Folk I suppose, Arcade Fire, Belle and Sebastian, Elliott Smith, Ben Gibbard, TV on the Radio... that sort of stuff. The Next Movie I Want to See: 'Manufactured Landscapes' at the IFC Center this weekend... some stuff at MoMA as well if I'm really bored. Random Info/Pics: I went to film school but chose to avoid the lottery of that career field by not going into it altogether, a lot of my friends are in the industry though, editors, low level producers, etc. Jumped out of my first plane this past weekend, fun stuff, getting certified for solo jumps is something I'm seriously considering. Other interests include running, sister got me into it a year or two ago and I'm comparatively awful, she's running the marathon this November and I get my ass kicked by the 4 mile races... and pubbing/partying with my badass non-married friends. No recent pictures handy at work. I'll guess I'll update when I do.

Cortez has his own blog: I Am Shiba What I do for Work: Paraprofessional 1:1, Classroom Aide, Job Coach for varying disabled children between ages of 16-21 for the High School. Have returned back to school to get certified by the State of Connecticut to return back to Counseling, only will be working in the area of Hospice and Grief Counseling rather than with children and education (hopefully). Have a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Current video games: Currently loving Lord of the Rings Online. Current music I enjoy: I listen and love most music- mainly I listen to Pop, Techno Dance or Ambient depending on my mood. The next movie I want to see: There are several, but a girlfriend and I are going to see Hairspray tomorrow to celebrate my birthday. Random info/pics: As much as I love computer games, I will always miss the mystique that the 1999-2003 days of EQ always gave. I have been an outcast from society due to my varied interests but involved in many cliques because of them, but EQ was one of the few times that I truly felt that I had a "place" among a group of people.

Family: Wife, daughter, mom and dad, four sisters (Three adopted who were all related), one brother, and about twenty foster kids who still consider themselves family enough to come to get togethors and family functions when time allows. --Edit-- And I forgot to list my three wonderful dogs. My male boxer/lab and my two female boxers. My substitute kids while the wife and I continue to work on it. What I do for Work: I work at the UPS airhub here in Louisville on 3rd shift. It's the largest that the company has and I currently load and unload airplanes. More to the point I'm currently driving a tug on the load and unload which I love. It's alot of solitude and time to think, read, etc while still 'challenging' in it's own way. (if you saw the ramp during sort times you'd know what I mean) Hopefully I'll make fulltime sometime by the end of next year which will mean a very healthy raise, but it's a Union job so we will see how it goes. Current video games: WoW (just came back again and it's more fun knowing what I can expect from it), my Gamecubeand Wii. Current music I enjoy: I'm pretty eclectic about music. I don't really like modern rap or top 40 style music, but everything else is doable usually. My main choice atm is alot of Alt Country (Wilco as mentioned before, Drive By Truckers, Chamberlain, etc) and the local public radio, WFPK. The next movie I want to see: Movies are a thing of the past atm. Random info/pics: Celebrating my first father's day today. :)
