I was subbing for an 8th grade teacher, subbed an entire week. That friday, the class was required to take a district wide benchmark test. These tests have to be delivered by hand from the school site administrator (principal or vp) to the room that they are being tested in. The test has to be administered by the teacher (me) and then handed directly from me back to the administrator where they are taken to the curriculum district office and graded. the forms are in sealed cellophane packages.

So i recieved the packages, opened them up, administered the test, and hand delivered the tests back to the principle when i was done. It turns out that the answer document was the wrong answer document. So, after administering the 2nd classes test, the principle shows up at the classroom door, and asks to talk to me "in private." I let him know that i can't leave the kids unattended while taking the test, so he says for me, in that serious tone, to see him in his office after the class is over.

i head to the office at the end of the day, with the last stack of tests, and he informs me that i've administered the test with the wrong answer document. I let him know that i've got no way of knowing which answer document went with the test (no teacher, permanent or substitute would, since the docs are all sealed and come directly from the district office). he says that i should have checked with him first before administering the test, and that it was going to take hours to refill all the answer documents, and that he didn't want "any more screwups". Not wanting to lose my job, i decided to let it go....but it pisses me off that instead of getting upset with the district office (who packaged the docs wrong), he decided to take it out on me...

i lucked out, ive got no top wisdom teeth and my bottoms came in without issue

i thought i lucked out too... then when i was 28 the dentist told me they needed to come out. the doc shattered one and little fragments of tooth kept surfacing afterwards.. it was sick!

the longer you wait to get them removed, the harder it is to get them out.

what happened where they had to come out? Mine are completely in, no impaction, no cavities, etc...I'm almost convinced that dentists have peoples wisdom teeth removed simply because thats common practice, whether its needed or not. My dentist told me that i should have my bottom ones out when they were first coming in...i said no...waited a bit, went back for a cleaning later, and lo and behold, they were in fine.
