Ban the Hood For Good...

Yes....a U.K. newspaper calling for the banning of the hooded sweatshirt in public...talk about crazy...first pointed kitchen knives...now this.....

While their at it, i'm sure most criminals wear underpants as well...for the safety of all, they should just ban clothes....

Not that I agree with the proposed ban but you seem to have missed the point of the proposed ban.

From the article:

His point is just because criminals use it does not mean law abiding citizens should be prevented from using it.

Ie: Millions of people wear hoodies and don't commit crimes.

Just because the UK has turned into a surveillance society doesn't mean people should be restricted in what they wear so that Big Brother can see them on video.

It's probably worth reading the comments on that story; they're virtually all saying the same thing - what a moronic idea. Don't take it as a sign of Big Brother; take it as a sign that the Express is a piss poor excuse for a newspaper!

Last night the distraught parents of 11-year-old Rhys Jones, gunned down in cold blood by a hoodie, gave their full support to our campaign to Ban The Hood For Good.

Wow. They banned guns to make people safer, and now sweatshirts with hoods are gunning people down. And I thought it was crazy when guns started sprouting legs and spontaneously attacking random people . . .

When we worked at the car wash we used to have to go to the bank mid shift to deposit money in the winter because we washed so many cars. When 2 guys walk into a bank wearing Ski masks and and Blue Jumpsuits people get nervous. heh
