School already canceled for an expected 8 to 12 inches in 6 hours.
Guess I know what I will be doing this afternoon.

Must be nice.
It's still between 70-80 degrees here in Charlotte, every freaking day. I can't stand it. |

I'll probably end up having to mow the lawn again. It's "suppossed" to get cold here this weekend - down into the 50's....brrrr.

I show up to office and there's like 3 people here because everyone is "working from home". I didn't even know it it was supposed to snow.
I'm so oblivious. |

I just woke up from a 3 hour morning nap. I figured that since I am not getting paid today, I might as well do what I *really* want to do rather than do something I *should.* I mean, let's face it, if given a choice between vacuuming or taking a morning nap . . . the answer is obvious to those of us who are not bothered with a cleanliness obsession. Now, what to do for lunch . . .

Not snowing. Doing a bunch of raining instead.
The roads look to be 'treacherous' though so I should probably head home to surf the internet instead of doing it here. |

I had to do a back haul of 6 pallets of rock salt from Westfield Ma. The trip over empty was a bit hairy, the ass end of the truck came around to meet me
twice. If my ass wasn't so puckered up, I think I woulda messed myself. The trip home was uneventful, but slow going. Glad you got to enjoy a snow day
like it was meant to be Muerta, I am a bit jealous actually.

I had to fly to DC today for a morning meeting. Managed to get on the 1:30 shuttle (the later ones were being canceled) back to Boston, which flew up to
Providence, got put in a hold while they "cleared the runway," was told to return to DC when Logan Airport closed for a while, then was sent to
LaGuardia instead, but ended up landing in Philadelphia ("funny, this doesn't look like LGA...") to refuel so it could go back to DC, where we
were all dumped off the plane so a new crop of victims could try again at "6:30" (it was already 6:15 when we landed).
On the other hand the Boston area was so screwed over there's no way I could have gotten home from the airport anyway. People were taking an hour and a half to get from my office to Route 128, which is less than a mile. Weather sucks. ![]() Harmony of Souls : My Quiver All this science I don't understand; it's just my job five days a week. |

Heh.. this is what I've been dealing with up here since early November. We've had like at least 6 snow days already. It's not even snow squall
season yet.

Oh my. What on earth have you sent me up here Muerta? I can hardly see out my window this morning. Police have closed the roads. I can't get to the church.
I guess God didn't want me to Preach that message today.
