Haha, I know Free Bird very well Rev, I get really drunk at most concerts and end up shouting it at crappy opening bands and whatnot. And Free Bird is probably my favorite solo of all time. Free Bird the song is just so-so, but that solo is godly.

Kendien, I actually have most of the stuff you listed on my Itunes and just have never listened to it, but I have to agree with most of it. Especially Achilles Last Stand, awesome. I'm sticking to my guns about Stairway though, I have never even liked it at all, I can't see why many people say it's the greatest song ever, it's actually quite boring to me. And I like a lot of Zeppelin, but songs like Kashmir and The Immigrant Song blow Stairway out of the water in my opinion.

A lot of you are saying Comfortably Numb, and I'd agree, although I was looking for more hardcore solos like Free Bird and Hangar 18. The kind that make you want to go raise hell and all. Comfortably Numb is a great track, but it's actually on my sleep list.

Hallowed be thy Name is a good one too I didn't even think of, yet I listen to a few times a week. I like Cradle of Filth's version better than Maiden's though, Danni Filth just sings (or screeches honestly) this particular song better in my opinion.

A lot of GNR is also being mentioned. I like GNR and Slash, but in my opinion Slash doesn't have shit on a lot of elite guitarists out there (Buckethead, Vai, Satriani, Van Halen, etc.)

I like all kinds of music though, one of my favorite solo's is watching the Allman Brothers live video's and seeing the solo played on guitar rather than having the piano drown everything out on albums with the song(heh even though the whole song is just instrumental).
