High school/college comedy ... recommendations

So for some weird reason I won't bother trying to analyze, I've always liked the high school comedy genre. Ever since I was a kid/teenager and was watching movies like grease, saved by the bell, cry baby, police academy, revenge of the nerds, parker lewis can't lose, and so on. Really enjoyed movies like 10 things I hate about you, Sky High, A cinderella story, and so on. Stupid, but fun for me :) Most of the time at least.

So, any recommendations that I might have missed from the last 20 years?

The already mentioned Old School is probably my favorite in the basic genre, even though it is only quasi about college since the main characters aren't in college at all, hah.

Definitely Ferris Buehler's Day off- that is a classic.

Lots of great stuff in it. I like how the writers had no clue about EQ when writing that dialogue

I echo the recommendation of Van Wilder.

I would add in: 10 Things I Hate About You. I don't know why, but I always enjoy that one. Plus the one where Drew Barrymore goes back to school as an undercover reporter? Never Been Kissed -- I think that's it!

It's Good to be Germane

"Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle." Not the funniest flick ever, but the part with "Freakshow" is great, as is Neal Patrick Harris playing himself strung out on X.

"Road Trip." Not one of the best either, but enough funny stuff in it to recommend it. It's got Stiffler, the main guy from "The New Guy" and perhaps the best part, Amy Smart getting nekkid. Seriously though, it did have some stuff that made me laugh out loud, like when the guys try to bluff their way into a frat house as members, only to find out it's an all black frat, and none of them are.

"Weird Science." Might actually be slightly older than 20 years, but right around that mark. Many consider it to be one of the "classic" teen comedies from the 80s. Kelly LeBrock nearly naked more than once. Was definitely a big hit with the teen boys.

Now, in case they slipped in under your radar, there's always the "Porky's" movies. The first two I thought were hysterical, whereas the third one not so much, though it was still amusing. You've never seen less teenaged looking teenagers except for on 90210. But, that aside, there's some absolutely, mind-numbingly funny stuff in them. Like the infamous "shower scene."

"Van Wilder" was mentioned earlier. There's a sequal out for it, subtitled "The Rise of Taj." Haven't seen it, but it's been out of theatres a while now, so probably due out on DVD soon.
