I'm torn on this. On one hand, he's the best player in the NBA and has been for a while and he's yet to win the MVP award. On the other hand, anyone that's watched the NBA this year knows that Chris Paul is the true MVP of the league. It's a dilemma that comes up often and most people agree that Best Player does not automatically equal Most Valuable Player. I guess the voters figure that Paul is young and will have plenty of chances to win it in the future.
It's hard to begrudge giving the award to Kobe, but it kind of sucks that Paul isn't getting it when he deserves it.
