NCIS has it all! This show is consistently well written and the acting is some of the very best on TV (network or cable). The writing is smart, funny and set at a pace that keeps the viewer glued to the screen. This cast is a terrific ensemble of truly gifted actors. I love them all! Fox NFL Game Day

I wanted to give a review but i can't even get into the game yet. i'm saving some space to put a review up later but i wanted to let anyone know that was thinking about buying (that had not yet) to hold off. The steam / EA / bioware servers are crappy right now. the instructions for getting the game working through steam are non existent. i think i've got it almost playable by just clicking on random options (i've got the game decrypting now after restarting steam)....

Sort of like the quasi-recent movie reviews thread, only about video games.

Best Buy has a Buy 2 Get 1 Free offer on any games priced at or under the $60 price point until the end of the week. Picked up Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, and FIFA 10.

No brainers... the first Uncharted was great and the sequel is getting Game of the Year talks. R&C: Tools of Destruction is probably in my top 3 so if this one comes anywhere close, I'll be happy. FIFA,...

Another one you young'uns probably don't remember. My brother and I spent many an hour as kids being entertained by Soupy Sales' show. His combination of off-the-wall, silly shtick and slapstick (say that five times fast!) was the best thing on television at the time. To be honest, I didn't even know he was still alive, and now I'm feeling the same pangs I did when Captain Kangaroo and Fred Rogers died.

Damn, I'm older than dirt.

Anyone else watch this?

Just got around to watching it off the DVR last night after the game.

It definitely has a very different feel and look than SG1 and Atlantis. Seems darker, sexier and more edgy and the characters are vastly different than the other shows.
Hard to tell after one episode but I think this is a good move for the franchise.

the reviews for this are pretty awful, but I took a risk as I loved Crank and Crank 2, and really enjoyed it. Works best as a long series of in jokes about the type of gamer who plays second life, and all those 14 year olds playing team pvp shooters. So many jokes in fact, that if you blink you'll miss some (keep an eye on the floating names of the society players in particular hehe).

Was too lazy to go back and look for the old thread. Season opener was on last night and can't say I was too impressed. Same shit, different circumstances. None of the characters have changed one iota since the show began except on the most superficial of levels. It was really funny. I'd classify it as more of a comedy with horror undertones.
