No spoilers from me at least.

I saw it this morning with my 4 year old. It was a really fun movie and one of the few things kid appropriate (semi at least) I've ever enjoyed.

The violence was all racing-related and/or not graphic for the most part. The obligatory fight scenes were all very stylized. There is one scene that was over my four year old's head that maybe a seven or eight year old would find disturbing. They stayed true enough to the original series...

Went to a premiere at 8 tonight. I never followed the comics much so I don't know how true to the series it was, but I will say this: as yet another in the endless stream of comic adaptations that have come down the pike, this one requires only one word to review.

My take so far...

It is my understanding that this show is historically accurate (enough) to be useful to aficionados of history. Bravo.

Paul Giamatti's portrayal of Adams is either really accurate, or really strange. I find Adams to be about the most un-compelling character in the series, with Abigail Adams being about the only true bright spot in the first four episodes.

The Ben Franklin character is perhaps true to life and also a tad strange. He's...

So, after ditching netflix, ditching blockbuster, and moving to the mom and pop store, a friend asked my why i don't use RedBox.

I love this thing. Movies are a buck a day, plus there are lots of freebie codes and websites that track them. I got 3 new releases and didn't pay anything for them, using the freebie codes. Only problem i see so far is that they have usually one copy of each movie. But you can rent online and just show up at the kiosk, and pick them up.

I'm debating getting one or the other in the near future and I've been doing a little bit of research so far. Seems like the psp might be a bit cooler, just wondering if folks have an opinion one way or the other? Capacity, flaws, fragility.. any problems that are common with each. The psp screen size alone seems like it'd make it a lot cooler.

edit: Anyone try to use either as an e-book reader? I have so many e-books that I've never touched because i don't...

Of a made for TV movie that came out several years ago starring Robert Guillome (the only actor in it that I actually remember). The story is that Aliens show up on earth and promise to do all manner of good things like suck all the pollution out of the atmosphere, cure all diseases on the planet, etc. if the humans agree to give them all the people on earth with a certain % of melatonin, basically all the black people. I searched IMDB under Robert Guillome but could not find it anywhere....
